All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows traders to directly express their beliefs. If a significant number of informed bettors believe a sportsbook’s odds are inaccurate, they can trade on Polymarket to capitalize on the discrepancy. This can lead to prediction market prices being more efficient, though sportsbook odds still provide a valuable benchmark for comparison and potential arbitrage opportunities.
This market resolves around Sep 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Temperley vs. Almagro match, as officially recorded by the governing soccer league, will determine the winning contract. Any disputes regarding the official result will be addressed using publicly available data and established sports reporting standards. Traders should monitor official sources for the confirmed final score to understand the resolution of this market.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Temperley or Almagro would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to affect the playing surface, could also move the market. Furthermore, any pre-match analysis from reputable soccer analysts or unexpected lineup announcements could prompt traders to adjust their positions and alter the probabilities reflected in this market.
