On Polymarket and Kalshi, pricing can vary due to user base dynamics, liquidity, and market design. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, differing participant pools may weight recent team form or player injuries differently. Additionally, each platform’s fee structure and order-book depth influence how probabilities adjust, leading to divergent chances even for the same underlying event.
