The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
The event evaluates multiple outcome thresholds for total goals scored in the River Plate versus Rosario Argentina Primera Division match scheduled for August 2, 2026. All markets resolve based solely on goals scored during the standard 90 minutes of play plus any stoppage time added by the referee, with explicit exclusion of extra time or penalty shootout scenarios. Each market has a distinct numerical threshold (ranging from 0.5 to 5.5 goals) that must be exceeded for a 'Yes' resolution. The governing resolution framework applies uniformly across all thresholds, with Kalshi explicitly stating no official affiliation with the league or ownership of associated intellectual property.
Prediction market odds on this market often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect decentralized trader sentiment rather than set odds from bookmakers. While sportsbooks may offer a spread or over/under, this market lets participants bet on the precise final score, creating a richer set of possible outcomes. The current implied probabilities from traders can show sharper or more nuanced expectations, especially for less common scores, compared with standard sportsbook markets.
