The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective intelligence of traders. If a significant discrepancy exists between this market and sportsbook lines, it could indicate that traders possess information not yet fully priced into the sportsbook odds, or that the market is identifying a mispricing. It’s important to note that both represent probabilities of an outcome, but are derived through different mechanisms.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores, and the price of each share reflects the market's implied probability of that score occurring. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts to find an equilibrium point where buyers and sellers agree. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand, with informed traders attempting to capitalize on perceived mispricings. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the latest information and collective predictions of participants.
This market resolves around Sep 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final, official score of the Penarol vs Albion match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the exact score at the end of regulation time, excluding any extra time or penalty shootouts. The platform will verify the result against official sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in incorrect outcomes will forfeit their investment.
