Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match outcome (win, loss, or draw) within 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 12, 2026, using the same primary source (CBF/governing body statistics) and applying identical logic across all three outcome markets.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics of the event as recognized by the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF) and the governing body or event organizers; if unavailable within 2 hours after match conclusion, consensus of credible reporting.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves based on the final outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time (no extra time or penalties).
Three mutually exclusive outcomes: CA Paranaense wins, Associação Chapecoense de Futebol wins, or the match ends in a draw.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game: the draw market (Polymarket) resolves YES; the win markets (Polymarket and Kalshi) resolve NO.
Exactly one outcome will resolve YES across the three markets.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the match is completed on a later date.
Match Cancellation Without Make-up: If the match is canceled entirely with no rescheduled make-up game, the draw market resolves YES and both win markets resolve NO.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of final match statistics by the CBF or governing body within 2 hours after the match conclusion, or upon consensus of credible reporting if official statistics are delayed beyond 2 hours.
