This group of markets focuses on predicting the exact final score of the CA Lanús vs. Instituto AC Córdoba match in the Primera División Argentina, scheduled for August 2, 2026. The markets cover various possible scorelines, with a fallback to 'Any Other Score' if the actual result does not match any listed option.
In the upcoming Primera División Argentina game between CA Lanús and Instituto AC Córdoba, scheduled for August 2, 2026 at 8:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the CA Lanús vs. Instituto AC Córdoba match originally scheduled for August 2, 2026 at 8:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
The event evaluates multiple thresholds for total goals scored in the Lanus vs Instituto Cordoba match scheduled for August 2, 2026, with resolution based solely on regular time (90 minutes plus stoppage time, excluding extra time or penalties). Each market corresponds to a progressively higher goal threshold (0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5, and 5.5 goals). If the actual number of goals exceeds any given threshold, the associated market resolves to 'Yes'; otherwise, it resolves to 'No'. All markets are independent, and each threshold represents a distinct outcome based on the final goal count. The rules clarify that Kalshi has no official affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Prediction market odds often reflect a different outlook than traditional sportsbook lines. On Polymarket, traders price in nuanced outcomes based on community knowledge and recent form, while sportsbooks may incorporate broader factors like public betting patterns and historical averages. This market typically shows tighter spreads and more granular scoring possibilities, offering a complementary perspective to conventional betting odds.
On Polymarket and Kalshi, prices can vary because each venue attracts distinct participant bases and has unique liquidity conditions. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, one platform might see heavier betting on a particular scoreline due to regional fan interest or recent news, skewing its implied probabilities. Differences in trading volume and user behavior between the two venues often lead to varied market prices.
