However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Sportsbooks set their lines based on models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply variations in how each assesses the probability of an event. It’s common to see this market move independently of sportsbook lines as new information becomes available.

Several factors could influence the trading activity and price movement in this market. Any news regarding team lineups, injuries to key players, changes in coaching staff, or even weather conditions could shift traders’ expectations. Unexpected results in other matches involving these teams, or broader trends in the league, could also play a role. Furthermore, significant betting activity or large trades on Polymarket itself can cause the odds to fluctuate as traders react to new information or attempt to capitalize on perceived mispricings.
