Sportsbooks typically set fixed odds based on broader analyst views and risk management. On Polymarket, you might see sharper or more volatile pricing depending on trading volume and recent news, whereas sportsbooks present a more stable, aggregated outlook. Comparing both can reveal where public traders diverge from institutional lines.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders collectively set the odds for each possible scoreline through buying and selling shares. The current top outcome reflects the highest trading volume and implies a strong bias among participants.
