On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more shares purchased for a particular outcome, the higher its price rises, indicating increased confidence among traders. Conversely, selling shares lowers the price, suggesting decreasing confidence. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date collective assessment of the event’s potential results.
This market resolves around Sep 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Burucenco vs. Mitul match as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will then determine the winning outcome based on this official result. Traders who held shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in losing outcomes will forfeit their investment. The resolution process is designed to be transparent and objective.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before its resolution. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or unexpected performance in preceding matches could influence trader sentiment. Public announcements about the athletes’ physical condition or training regimens would also be closely watched. Major shifts in betting patterns at traditional sportsbooks, or analysis from respected sports commentators, could also impact trading activity and, consequently, the price of shares in this market. Ultimately, any information that alters the perceived probability of either athlete winning could cause price fluctuations.
