Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the dashboard for the Bulgaria vs. Poland football match displays real-time odds and price movements as traders buy and sell shares tied to potential outcomes. You can monitor the current probability implied by market prices, review historical price charts, and track trading volume to gauge market interest and conviction. The interface lets you see how sentiment has shifted since the market opened, helping you understand whether traders are growing more or less confident in a particular result as the event approaches.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price outcomes differently. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets rely on trader consensus—the collective belief of participants buying and selling shares. Because prediction markets aggregate distributed information from many participants with real money at stake, they often reflect ground-truth probabilities more closely than sportsbook lines. However, sportsbooks may move faster on breaking news or injury reports, and prediction markets can experience temporary inefficiencies during low-volume periods.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds continuously as traders place orders. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Shares representing each outcome trade between 0 and 1 dollar, with the price reflecting the implied probability. When you buy a share, you're betting that outcome will occur; if it does, your share settles at 1 dollar. The spread between bid and ask prices tightens as volume increases, making it cheaper to enter or exit positions in highly active markets.

This market resolves around Jul 22, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the final score and result of the football match itself—whether it ends in a win for one side, a draw, or another specified condition depending on the exact market structure. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the final whistle, after official confirmation from the relevant football authority or widely recognized sports data provider.

Key catalysts include team news such as injuries to star players, lineup announcements, and recent form or head-to-head records. Betting syndicate activity and sharp money flowing into one side can shift odds quickly. Weather conditions on match day, venue factors, and any late-breaking tactical changes may also influence trader positioning. Social media sentiment and mainstream sports media coverage can amplify moves, especially if unexpected developments emerge. As the kickoff approaches, odds typically tighten and become less volatile once the starting lineups are confirmed.
