This market refers only to the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
The event determines the result of the FC Anyang vs Seoul professional Korea K League 1 soccer match scheduled for August 22, 2026, based solely on the outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, excluding extra time or penalty shootouts. Three distinct markets correspond to the possible results: FC Anyang win, Seoul win, or a tie. If the match ends in a tie after regulation time, the 'Tie' market resolves to Yes. Should the game be cancelled or rescheduled to a date more than 48 hours beyond the original schedule, all markets will resolve to a fair price as determined by the event rules. The resolution strictly adheres to the result within regulation time, with no consideration given to post-regulation proceedings such as extra time or penalties.
Prediction market odds on this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect real-time trader sentiment and can adjust more rapidly. While sportsbooks set fixed odds based on analytics and risk management, prediction markets price in crowd-sourced expectations, which may incorporate late-breaking news or shifts in team form. As a result, you might see a wider spread or unexpected favorites emerge on platforms like Polymarket and Kalshi, especially when trading volume is low or information is unevenly distributed among participants.
On Polymarket and Kalshi, prices can vary due to differences in user bases, liquidity, and market design. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one platform might attract more local fans, skewing its odds toward a specific team, while the other could have a global user base that prices in broader factors. Additionally, varying trading volumes create different levels of price efficiency; a thinly traded market may show larger swings from single trades, whereas higher volume tends to smooth out extremes. These dynamics often lead to divergent probabilities even for the same underlying question.
Injuries to key attacking players, weather conditions affecting gameplay, or strategic lineup changes announced by coaches can all shift this market. Momentum swings within the first few minutes of the match may also cause rapid adjustments in trader sentiment. Keep an eye on pre-match press conferences, official team sheets, and live in-game updates — each can dramatically alter the perceived probability of which side strikes first.
