In the upcoming USL Championship game between Brooklyn FC and Pittsburgh Riverhounds, scheduled for August 22, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Brooklyn FC vs. Pittsburgh Riverhounds match originally scheduled for August 22, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
The event evaluates multiple thresholds for the total goals scored in the Brooklyn FC versus Pittsburgh professional USL Championship soccer match scheduled for August 22, 2026. Each market resolves to 'Yes' if the combined goals exceed a specified threshold—ranging from more than 0.5 to more than 5.5 goals—within the 90 minutes of regular play plus any stoppage time added by the referee. Extra time and penalty phases are explicitly excluded from all calculations. Regardless of the threshold being evaluated, all markets share the same temporal and procedural conditions, ensuring consistency across outcomes. The secondary rules clarify that the platform operating the event is not officially affiliated with the governing league, and all associated trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Prediction market odds on this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to their granular focus on the exact final score rather than broader outcomes like win, lose, or draw. Prediction platforms price in real-time based on trader activity, which can react faster to new information such as player injuries or weather changes. Meanwhile, sportsbooks set fixed odds that incorporate their own risk models and broader public betting patterns, sometimes leading to divergence in implied probabilities for specific scorelines.
