On Polymarket and Kalshi, prices can vary because of differences in user bases, trading volumes, and design features. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, one platform might attract more sharp traders who drive prices toward tighter valuations, while the other could reflect broader retail interest. These distinct participant mixes often produce divergent probability assessments, especially in markets like this one where sentiment can shift rapidly ahead of key matchups or injuries.
