Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of participants, potentially differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market relies on traders directly expressing their beliefs about the outcome. It's common to see discrepancies, especially when there's significant public interest or access to specialized information. These differences can present opportunities for arbitrage, as traders seek to exploit mispricings between the two types of markets.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more people buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price is driven entirely by supply and demand, reflecting the aggregated predictions of all participants. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market remains responsive to new information and evolving sentiment.

This market resolves around Sep 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
