This market will resolve to "YES" if Brazil records a strictly greater number of attempts at goal on target than Portugal across all group stage matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This market will resolve as soon as both Brazil and Portugal have completed all their group stage matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup and official final attempts at goal on target totals are available. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2026, 23:59 UTC, or official final attempts at goal on target totals for Brazil and Portugal are not available within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA (https://www.fifa.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

The market resolves on Jun 28, 2026, after all group-stage matches for both Brazil and Portugal have concluded. Resolution is determined by comparing the total number of attempts on target each team achieved across their entire group-stage campaign. The outcome is binary: whichever nation records the higher cumulative total wins the market. Official FIFA statistics serve as the authoritative source for shot data.
Key catalysts include team roster announcements, injury updates to star forwards or midfielders, and tactical shifts by each nation's coaching staff. Pre-tournament friendlies and qualifying-round performance offer clues about attacking intent and shot volume. Group-stage draw composition—the quality and defensive style of opponents—will heavily influence how many attempts each team attempts. Live match results during the group stage will also shift odds as traders update expectations based on actual performance and remaining fixtures.
