PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi's market lacks explicit resolution rules for draws, technical draws, no contests, cancellations, and postponements, while Polymarket provides comprehensive coverage. Both platforms agree on winner-determination logic but diverge on edge-case handling.Hero tip: Polymarket traders have contractual certainty on all outcomes including draws and cancellations (50-50 split). Kalshi traders face ambiguity; the platform's silence on non-win scenarios may result in unexpected resolution or dispute. Monitor Kalshi's official clarification before the event date.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: Comprehensive resolution framework: resolves to Fury or Hall on official winner declaration via Misfits Boxing. Draws (split, majority, unanimous) resolve per official Misfits Boxing rules. If no official winner, technical draw, no contest, not scored, canceled, or postponed beyond June 27, 2026, resolves 50-50. Primary source: Misfits Boxing with credible reporting consensus fallback.
  • Kalshi: Binary structure: resolves Yes if Tommy Fury wins OR if Eddie Hall wins. No explicit rules provided for draws, technical draws, no contests, cancellations, postponements, or other non-win outcomes. Resolution logic is incomplete and creates settlement ambiguity.
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction markets like those tracked here operate on crowd-sourced pricing rather than bookmaker margins. Traders stake real capital on outcomes, creating incentives for accuracy that often differ from traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks build in juice and adjust lines for liability, prediction markets reflect aggregated trader conviction with minimal intermediary markup. This market's odds may lead or lag sportsbook lines depending on information flow and trader sophistication. Direct comparison reveals whether mainstream betting markets and decentralized traders are aligned or diverging on this matchup.

Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform operates under distinct regulatory frameworks, liquidity pools, and user bases, which can produce pricing gaps even on identical events. Polymarket and Kalshi may attract traders with different risk tolerances, information sets, or time horizons. Arbitrage opportunities and platform-specific fees can also widen spreads. Monitoring both venues helps you identify mispricings and understand where informed traders are concentrating their capital on this boxing event.

Key catalysts include fighter training updates, injury announcements, and weigh-in results closer to the event date. Media coverage, expert commentary, and social sentiment can shift trader positioning rapidly. Odds on related markets—such as method of victory or round betting—may also influence this broader matchup pricing. Major news about either fighter's camp, contract disputes, or venue changes could trigger sharp repricing. Monitor sports news outlets and platform activity for sudden volume spikes that often precede significant probability shifts.
