Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margins, while prediction markets aggregate genuine belief from traders risking real capital. This market may show different implied probabilities than traditional sports betting sites, particularly as new information emerges. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd's conviction differs from professional oddsmakers, though both sources provide valuable perspective on the likely outcome.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through continuous trading, where buyers and sellers set the odds by exchanging contracts at mutually agreed prices. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price you see reflects the latest transaction and represents the market's current consensus on the probability of each outcome. As new developments occur—injuries, team news, or pre-match analysis—traders adjust their positions, moving the price up or down. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures the odds stay responsive to real-world information throughout the trading window.
This market resolves around Jul 17, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on the final score and official match records. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell contracts as odds fluctuate. Resolution happens automatically once the event is finalized, and all positions settle according to the confirmed result.
