Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All markets across Polymarket and Kalshi use identical resolution logic: official final score from cbf.com.br after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, with 50-50 resolution if the game is canceled entirely.Primary resolution logic: Official final score published on cbf.com.br (Brazilian Football Confederation), with fallback to consensus of credible reporting if official statistics are not published within 2 hours after event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • All markets resolve based on the official final score from cbf.com.br after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only (no extra time or penalties).
  • Spread markets (Botafogo -1.5, -2.5 and Internacional -1.5, -2.5) resolve YES if the named team wins by the specified margin or greater; otherwise NO.
  • Over/Under markets (1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5) resolve YES if combined goals meet or exceed the threshold; otherwise NO.
  • Both Teams to Score resolves YES if each team scores at least one goal; NO if either team scores zero.
  • If the game is postponed, all markets remain open until completion.
  • If the game is canceled entirely with no make-up game, all markets resolve 50-50.

  • Game Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the game is completed. Resolution then occurs based on the final score of the rescheduled match.
  • Game Cancellation: If the game is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, all markets in the group resolve 50-50 (split evenly between YES and NO outcomes).
  • Incomplete Match: If the game is started but not completed (e.g., abandoned), resolution is based on the official final score published by cbf.com.br for that incomplete match.
  • Source Delay: If cbf.com.br does not publish official statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, resolution may use consensus of credible reporting as a secondary source.
