This market tracks the run differential between Boston and Colorado during only the first five innings of their June 24, 2026 game. Bettors predict whether one team will lead by a specific margin after five innings.
The Boston vs Colorado game scheduled for June 24, 2026 at 3:10 PM EDT will be evaluated based on the run differential after the first five innings. Colorado outcomes resolve to Yes if Colorado leads by more than the specified margin (1.5 or 2.5 runs) at the end of the fifth inning. Boston outcomes resolve to Yes if Boston leads by more than the specified margin (1.5 or 2.5 runs) at the end of the fifth inning. If the game is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and resolves after the rescheduled game concludes within two days. Only one team's outcomes can resolve to Yes per game.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders betting real money on outcomes. This market may price the first-inning spread differently than traditional sportsbooks, especially as game time approaches and new information emerges. Comparing the two can reveal where traders see value relative to conventional betting lines.
This market resolves around Jun 24, 2026, once the Boston-Colorado game concludes and the first-five inning score is verified. The outcome will be confirmed against credible public sources reporting the official box score. Traders holding positions will see their contracts settle based on whether Colorado's run total in the first five innings exceeds Boston's by more than 1.5 runs. Resolution typically occurs within hours of game completion.
Several factors could shift odds before the game begins and during the first five innings. Lineup announcements, starting pitcher confirmations, and recent team performance trends often trigger price movement. Weather conditions, ballpark factors, and injury updates can also influence early-game scoring expectations. Once play starts, runs scored in the first few innings will drive sharp repricing as traders update their probability estimates in real time. Late-breaking news about player availability or game conditions may create volatility right up until first pitch.
