On Polymarket and Opinion, prices can diverge because of differing user bases, liquidity levels, and trading activity. Polymarket and Opinion can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, if one platform has deeper volume or more active traders, its prices may reflect sharper insights or quicker reactions to news. Additionally, each venue’s fee structure and market design can influence how traders place bets, causing the odds to shift independently.
