Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they serve different purposes and audiences. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. For this match, sportsbook lines may emphasize injury reports or team news, whereas this market reflects aggregated trader conviction about the specific offside threshold. Comparing the two can reveal whether professional oddsmakers and decentralized traders see the same probability for Bosnia accumulating multiple offsides infractions.
On Limitless, this market is priced through continuous order-book trading, where buyers and sellers submit bids and asks that determine the real-time probability. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders profit by predicting whether Bosnia will commit two or more offsides, and their collective buying and selling pressure moves the price up or down. The market price at any moment reflects the consensus probability among active participants, updated instantly as new trades execute.
This market resolves around Jun 19, 2026, once the Bosnia-Switzerland match concludes and the final offside count is verified. The outcome is determined by the total number of offsides infractions called by the referee during the match. If Bosnia is flagged for two or more offsides, the market resolves to yes; otherwise, it resolves to no. Resolution is confirmed once the result is verifiable from credible public reporting of the match.
Several factors could shift trader positioning before the match. Team news—such as suspensions, injuries, or lineup changes—may alter Bosnia's attacking strategy and offside risk. Referee assignments can matter, as different officials call offsides at varying strictness levels. Recent form and head-to-head history between these teams may influence expectations about pace and pressing intensity. As match day nears, late-breaking tactical announcements or weather conditions could also prompt repricing, and live trading during the match itself will react to early offside calls and in-game momentum.
