Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they reflect real-money commitments from a broad set of traders rather than a single expert opinion. In this market, odds aggregate dispersed information and incentivize accuracy through financial stakes. Analysts may rely on team form, injury reports, and tactical analysis, while prediction markets incorporate those signals plus trader conviction and live-betting dynamics. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus is strongest and where uncertainty remains highest.

On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the collective belief of all active traders at any given moment. As new information surfaces—team news, betting patterns, or match developments—traders adjust their positions, which moves the odds in real time. The spread between bid and ask prices narrows or widens based on liquidity and trading interest.

This market resolves around Jun 24, 2026, once the second half of the Bosnia-Herzegovina vs Qatar match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team scores more goals in the second half alone. Once the final whistle sounds and official records confirm the second-half winner, the market settles accordingly and traders receive payouts based on their positions.

Several catalysts could shift odds in this market before resolution. Team news—injuries, suspensions, or lineup changes—often triggers sharp repricing. Pre-match analysis and expert commentary can sway trader sentiment. Once the match begins, first-half scoreline, possession patterns, and tactical adjustments will influence expectations for the second half. Late-breaking developments such as red cards or unexpected substitutions can cause rapid price swings. Live betting activity during the first half will be a key driver of second-half odds.
