This market tracks the total combined goals scored by Bosnia and Herzegovina and Qatar during the second half of their FIFA World Cup match on June 24, 2026, with separate outcomes for whether the total exceeds 0.5, 1.5, 2.5, or 3.5 goals.
Resolution is based on the combined goal total scored by both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Qatar during the second half only, measured from the start of the second half through the end of stoppage time. Each outcome resolves to Yes if the total goals exceed the specified threshold (0.5, 1.5, 2.5, or 3.5 goals respectively). Goals scored during the first half do not count. If the game is cancelled or rescheduled to more than two weeks away, the market will resolve to a fair price in accordance with the rules.
Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they aggregate real-time trader conviction rather than relying on a single expert opinion. While sports analysts may publish pre-match projections based on team form and statistics, this market prices in continuous updates from participants who have financial incentive to forecast accurately. Analysts typically issue forecasts days or weeks ahead, whereas prediction markets adjust dynamically as kickoff approaches and new team news breaks. The two approaches complement each other: analysts provide detailed reasoning, while markets reveal aggregated probability estimates from many informed participants simultaneously.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different outcome ranges for the second half total. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects supply and demand from participants, with the bid-ask spread indicating market confidence and liquidity. As traders place orders, the market price adjusts to balance buying and selling pressure. This continuous pricing model ensures that the odds you see represent the most recent consensus among active traders on the platform, updated in real time as new information or sentiment shifts occur.
This market resolves around Jun 24, 2026, once the Bosnia-Herzegovina versus Qatar match concludes and the second half result is verified. The outcome is determined by the total number of goals scored during the second half only, confirmed against credible public sources such as official match records or major sports data providers. Resolution occurs after the final whistle and any necessary review periods. Traders holding positions aligned with the verified outcome receive their winnings, while positions on incorrect ranges expire without value. The exact resolution timing depends on when official confirmation becomes available following the match.
Several catalysts could shift odds significantly before the match concludes. Team news such as player injuries, lineup announcements, or tactical changes announced closer to kickoff often trigger sharp repricing. Early match momentum—including goals scored in the first half or red cards—typically influences second half expectations, as traders adjust for fatigue, tactical adjustments, and psychological factors. Weather conditions or pitch quality reported on match day may also affect scoring patterns. Additionally, live score updates during the first half provide concrete data that traders use to recalibrate their second half forecasts, making this market particularly responsive to real-time developments.
