In the upcoming Serie A game between Bologna FC 1909 and US Sassuolo Calcio, scheduled for September 6, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Bologna FC 1909 vs. US Sassuolo Calcio match originally scheduled for September 6, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially as an event nears. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perception, while this market aggregates the diverse opinions of informed traders. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, and discrepancies can occur due to differing information or risk assessments. Comparing the two can offer a more comprehensive view of potential outcomes, but this market’s prices are driven by unique factors.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact first-half score. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of participants.
This market resolves around Sep 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official result of the first half of the Bologna FC 1909 vs. US Sassuolo Calcio match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact first-half score at the end of the first 45 minutes (plus any added stoppage time) will determine the winning outcome. No further information regarding resolution criteria is available. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result to understand how this market will settle.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Bologna or Sassuolo could significantly shift expectations. Changes in weather conditions, such as heavy rain or strong winds, might also impact the perceived likelihood of different scorelines. Even tactical announcements from either manager, such as a surprising starting lineup, could cause traders to reassess probabilities. Unexpected pre-match analysis or expert opinions could also move this market as traders react to new information.
