On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price converges towards what the collective market believes is the true probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price indicates what percentage of the total market capitalization is allocated to each possible result, and this shifts dynamically with every trade. The platform facilitates this price discovery process, allowing traders to express their views and profit from accurate predictions.
