In the upcoming Premier Division (Ireland) game between Bohemians Dublin FC and Drogheda United FC, scheduled for September 18, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Bohemians Dublin FC vs. Drogheda United FC match originally scheduled for September 18, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while Polymarket allows traders to directly assess the probability of an outcome. This can lead to discrepancies, with this market potentially offering more favorable odds for certain exact scores. However, sportsbook odds reflect the views of professional oddsmakers and may incorporate information not yet fully priced into the prediction market. Comparing the two can be a useful exercise for informed decision-making.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each exact score. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust dynamically, creating a real-time forecast of the match result. The current price movements indicate which exact scores are considered most likely by the crowd.
This market resolves around Sep 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Bohemians vs. Drogheda match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score determined by official sources will be used to determine which shares pay out. It’s important to note that any postponements or cancellations of the match may affect the resolution timeline, but the outcome will always be based on the officially recorded result when the event is completed. Traders should monitor official announcements for any updates.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff could significantly shift expectations. Pre-match analysis from sports journalists and analysts, as well as any reported changes in team tactics, could also impact trading activity. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role. Finally, even public sentiment and large bets from influential traders on Polymarket can cause noticeable price movements as the event draws closer.
