Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the second half result market dashboard tracks real-time odds and trading activity for the outcome of the second half in the Bohemian FC versus FC Ballkani match. The display shows current pricing, historical price movements, and 24-hour volume to help traders monitor sentiment and liquidity. This market allows participants to predict which team will be ahead or if the half will end level when the final whistle sounds, with all data updated live as traders buy and sell positions throughout the trading window.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and manage risk, while this market is priced by traders who profit directly from accurate predictions. Sportsbook odds may incorporate sharper professional action and real-time adjustments, whereas prediction markets can sometimes capture crowd sentiment or retail positioning that differs from traditional betting lines. Comparing the two can reveal where market consensus and professional oddsmakers disagree on the likely second half outcome.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each possible outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the cumulative bets placed by all participants; as more traders back one result, its price rises and others fall. Prices update continuously, and the cost to buy or sell a share depends on the current pool depth and the total volume already committed to each side of the market.

This market resolves around Jul 22, 2026, once the Bohemian FC versus FC Ballkani match concludes and the second half result is verified. The outcome is determined by which team is ahead on the scoreboard when the referee ends the second half, or whether the teams are level. Resolution is confirmed once the final score is verifiable from credible public reporting of the match, and traders' positions settle according to the actual result.

Several factors can shift odds before resolution. Team news—injuries, suspensions, or lineup changes—often triggers repricing as traders reassess each side's strength. Early match momentum, particularly goals or red cards in the first half, typically influences expectations for the second half heavily. Weather conditions, venue factors, and recent form updates can also sway sentiment. As the match progresses and the first half concludes, traders will react to the halftime score and any tactical adjustments, causing this market to reprice substantially in the final minutes before the second half begins.
