Sportsbooks build in vig and adjust lines to balance liability, while prediction markets aggregate real-time belief from many participants. For this Birmingham doubles match, comparing Polymarket implied probabilities to major sportsbook lines can reveal discrepancies that signal either market inefficiency or differing risk assessments. Traders often use sportsbook movement as a signal to inform their prediction market positions, though the two venues may price the same outcome quite differently.

On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the Chandrasekar/Yuzuki vs Jones/Paris match is priced through continuous order-book trading, where each outcome contract reflects the probability traders assign to that result. The current price of each contract directly translates to implied probability; a contract trading at 0.65 implies a 65% chance of that outcome. Prices adjust in real time as new trades execute, and liquidity depth determines how easily large orders can move the market.
