The event resolves based on the result of the West Ham vs Wolverhampton professional EFL Championship soccer match scheduled for September 1, 2026. A 'Yes' outcome occurs if the specified team wins the game within the 90 minutes plus stoppage time. If the match ends in a tie after regulation time, the 'Tie' market resolves to 'Yes'. If the game is cancelled or rescheduled to more than 48 hours beyond the original date, the market will resolve to a fair price as determined by the platform rules. The resolution excludes outcomes from extra time or penalty shootouts, focusing only on the result at the end of regular time.
This market resolves to "YES" if the listed club wins after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalty shootouts, in the match scheduled for September 1, 2026, 18:45 UTC. Otherwise, it will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If the match is not completed as scheduled for any reason (for example, if it is abandoned, canceled, or awarded), and an official final result is recognized by the governing body or event organizers, this market will resolve based on that result. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "NO." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect the collective wisdom of informed traders rather than set bookmaker margins. In this market, prices incorporate real-time data analysis and can adjust more frequently. For example, a shift in team form or injury news may move this market faster than sportsbook lines, which typically update less often and include a built-in overround. Traders watch both to spot mispricings.
On Kalshi and Limitless, prices can vary due to differences in user base, liquidity, and trading mechanics. Kalshi and Limitless can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform’s community may weigh certain factors—like recent performance or managerial tactics—differently, leading to distinct probability assessments. Additionally, varying fee structures and order types influence how traders place bets, which can cause the platforms to price this market at different levels at any given moment.
Injuries, lineup changes, or weather conditions could all shift this market as the match approaches. Key moments like pre-game analyst commentary or last-minute squad announcements often cause rapid price adjustments. Traders will also watch for any unexpected disruptions—such as venue issues or disciplinary actions—that might affect team performance and therefore influence market probabilities.
