This market tracks the outcome of the second map in a League of Legends match between Bilibili Gaming and EDward Gaming scheduled for July 24, 2026 at 7:00 AM EDT as part of the LPL 2026 season. The winner of map 2 will determine the resolution of this competitive esports event.
Resolution is determined by the official result of map 2 in the specified LPL match. If the map is not completed within 48 hours of the originally scheduled start time, or if the match or map is cancelled before play begins, the market resolves to fair market price. If a match is forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. If a map is forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. However, if a map begins and is subsequently forfeited, the market resolves according to the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital on outcomes. This market's odds represent consensus among Kalshi participants who profit or lose based on accuracy. Comparing these odds to traditional sportsbooks can reveal where one venue sees value the other has missed, though prediction markets typically incorporate broader information flows and real-time adjustments.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where buyers and sellers trade contracts tied to the outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the latest consensus among active traders, with each contract representing a claim on the result. As new information emerges or sentiment shifts, the bid-ask spread tightens or widens accordingly. You can enter limit or market orders to position yourself, and your profit or loss is determined by the final settlement price relative to your entry point.
This market resolves around Jul 24, 2026, once the Map 2 result is finalized and verifiable from credible public sources covering the esports event. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official match result reported by the tournament organizers or league. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell contracts as new developments or analysis emerge. Resolution is binary—either one team wins the map or the other—with no partial or draw outcomes applicable to this specific market.
Several catalysts could shift odds before Jul 24, 2026. Team roster changes, player injuries, or last-minute lineup announcements often trigger sharp repricing. Pre-match analysis from esports commentators and pro players can sway casual traders. Recent performance data, head-to-head records, and map-specific statistics also influence positioning. In-game momentum during Map 1 or earlier rounds may reveal meta shifts or team form that traders incorporate into Map 2 expectations. Major tournament news, patch updates affecting game balance, or unexpected team statements can all move this market significantly.
