Tristan BERARD and Alvaro Gaspar Martaux compete in a professional tennis match at the 2026 M25 Montauban Round of 16 on June 22. The winner of this match will be determined by standard tennis competition rules.
Resolution requires that a ball be played in the match. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or other cancellation, all markets resolve to $0.50. If a player withdraws or forfeits after play has started, that player's market resolves to No. If the match is postponed or delayed, markets remain open and close after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks.
Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks balance action and manage risk through margin, while prediction markets like this one are driven by traders seeking alpha through information advantage. Prediction markets typically incorporate real-time information faster and can reflect niche insights that sportsbooks haven't yet priced in. However, sportsbooks benefit from professional oddsmakers and sharp action, sometimes pricing outcomes more efficiently. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential value opportunities based on your own analysis.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective belief of active traders at any moment, with bids and asks converging toward equilibrium as new information arrives. Shares are fractional and range from 0 to 100 cents, making the price directly readable as an implied probability. You can enter limit or market orders to express your view, and the platform matches buyers and sellers in real time. Liquidity depth and spread width vary throughout the day based on trading interest and proximity to the resolution date.
This market resolves around Jun 25, 2026, once the event concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official result of the fight, with resolution typically occurring within hours of the final decision. Traders should monitor official sports media and event announcements as the date approaches to stay informed on any schedule changes or postponements. Once verified, the market will settle automatically, paying out shares of the winning outcome at full value and expiring shares of the losing outcome at zero.
Several catalysts could shift odds significantly before settlement. Fighter injury announcements, training camp updates, or coaching changes may alter perceived readiness or strategy. Weigh-in results, recent performance footage, or analyst commentary often trigger repricing as new information surfaces. Betting action from sharp money or large syndicates can signal conviction and move prices sharply. Media narratives around fighter form, matchup dynamics, or external circumstances may sway retail traders. As the event date approaches, anticipation typically builds, and any last-minute developments—such as rule changes, venue shifts, or fighter statements—can create volatility. Monitor sports news and social media closely for early signals.
