On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a growing consensus. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of all participants.
This market resolves around Sep 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which team is officially recorded as scoring the first goal in the Benin vs. Poland match. The official match records will serve as the determining factor for settling this market. Any disputes will be handled according to Polymarket's standard procedures, ensuring a fair and transparent resolution process.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments announced by either Benin or Poland could shift the odds. Furthermore, significant betting activity in traditional sportsbooks might draw attention to this market and influence trading behavior, potentially leading to price fluctuations.
