On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing the probability of four or more total sets being played. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective belief of the traders. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders believe the match will go to four or more sets, the price increases, and vice versa. The current price indicates the market’s implied probability of this outcome, offering a unique perspective compared to traditional betting odds.
This market resolves around Sep 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding player injuries to either Ben Shelton or Denis Shapovalov would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they affect the playing surface, could also impact the perceived likelihood of a longer match. Furthermore, early performance in the tournament, or even comments from the players themselves about their strategy or physical condition, could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected upsets in other matches could also indirectly influence this market by altering overall tournament dynamics.
