Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and risk assessment, while this market aggregates the views of many individuals. It's common to see discrepancies between the two, especially before a significant amount of trading occurs. These differences can arise from varying levels of information, biases, or simply different interpretations of the available data. Analyzing both sources can provide a more comprehensive understanding of the expected outcome.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price is determined solely by supply and demand – if more people believe Belibov Daniel will win, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date expectations.

This market resolves around Sep 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Belibov vs. Cucerovschii match, as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will verify the outcome against these sources to determine the winning share(s). Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be eligible to receive payouts based on the final market price at the time of resolution. Several signals could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or even weather conditions could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about the players' form or fitness levels would likely have a significant impact. Public opinion, as reflected in polls or expert analysis, can also play a role, though the market isn't necessarily tied to those directly. Major upsets in related matches or tournaments might also cause traders to reassess their probabilities, leading to price fluctuations in this market.
