This market will resolve to "YES" if both of the following conditions are met: BC.Game Esports announces the signing of at least three players from the main CS2 roster of the same team in a single announcement by July 15, 2026, 23:59 UTC.That team is ranked within the top 20 of the HLTV Valve Global Ranking at the time of the announcement. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." Only announcements made between June 17, 2026, 12:00 UTC and July 15, 2026, 23:59 UTC, will qualify. Prediction markets and sportsbooks operate under different regulatory and operational models. Sportsbooks typically set odds based on internal risk models and adjust them to balance liability, whereas this market aggregates trader sentiment and capital allocation directly. Prediction markets often reflect longer-term or more niche outcomes—like esports roster moves—that traditional sportsbooks may not offer. The odds here represent what a distributed group of traders believes will happen, rather than a bookmaker's calculated spread. This can make prediction markets especially useful for specialized events where expert consensus is harder to quantify.
On Limitless, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks to buy or sell shares tied to each outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the last executed trade and the depth of buy and sell orders at various levels. As new information emerges—such as roster rumors, team announcements, or player transfers—traders adjust their positions, moving the odds. Liquidity and trading volume directly influence how quickly prices respond to new signals, with deeper order books enabling faster price discovery.
This market resolves around Jul 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on whether BC.Game has officially signed three or more players who were part of a top-20 Valorant esports roster at the time of signing. Credible esports news outlets, team announcements, and official roster disclosures will determine the final result. Traders should monitor team social media, esports news platforms, and official BC.Game communications as the deadline approaches.
Several catalysts could shift odds significantly. Official announcements from BC.Game or target esports organizations about roster changes, player contract negotiations, or team restructuring would be major triggers. Esports news coverage of free-agent signings or trade rumors involving top-20 teams could also influence trader sentiment. Roster lock dates, franchise announcements, or major tournament results that affect team stability may prompt reassessment. Additionally, any public statements from players or team management about their future plans could accelerate price movement as traders update their conviction on whether the signing threshold will be met by the deadline.
