The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital on outcomes. This market aggregates trader conviction across many participants, each motivated to profit by accurately forecasting the exact final score. Comparing the two can reveal where professional oddsmakers and decentralized traders disagree, though both sources offer valuable signals. Neither is inherently more accurate; they simply represent different perspectives on the same event.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that calculates odds based on the proportion of capital allocated to each exact score outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy and sell shares representing different final scorelines, and the price of each share reflects the collective probability assigned to that result. As more capital flows into a particular outcome, its price rises and others fall, creating a dynamic equilibrium. This mechanism ensures continuous pricing and allows traders to enter or exit positions throughout the trading window.
This market resolves around Aug 2, 2026, once the match concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at the end of regulation play. Traders holding shares in the correct final score receive their payout, while all other positions expire worthless. Resolution is typically confirmed within hours of the match ending, allowing the market to settle quickly and fairly based on the official result.
Team news—injuries to key players, lineup changes, or tactical shifts—can significantly shift odds on specific scorelines. Recent form, head-to-head history, and weather conditions on match day all influence trader expectations about likely outcomes. Major betting syndicates or sharp money entering the market can also move prices rapidly as professional traders position ahead of kickoff. As the match approaches, real-time developments such as team confirmations or late-breaking roster updates may trigger repricing. Once play begins, live score updates will drive continuous repricing until the final whistle.
