On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the price fluctuates, reflecting the evolving consensus. Higher demand for shares in a particular outcome will drive its price up, indicating a greater perceived likelihood, while increased selling pressure will lower the price. This dynamic pricing allows for a real-time assessment of expectations.
This market resolves around Sep 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the second half of the Bay FC vs. Orlando Pride match will be used to determine which outcome wins. The resolution will be based on the official match result as reported by a trusted sports data source. Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or tactical adjustments announced before the match could significantly impact expectations. In-game events during the first half, such as early goals, red cards, or dominant performances by one team, will likely cause rapid price adjustments. Unexpected weather conditions or referee decisions could also play a role. Overall, any information that alters the perceived probabilities of each outcome has the potential to move this market.
