On Polymarket and Kalshi, prices can diverge because of differences in user bases, liquidity, and trading activity. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one platform might attract more local fans, skewing its odds toward a favored team, while the other could reflect a more global or neutral perspective. Additionally, each venue sets its own fee structures and market rules, further influencing how traders place bets and what prices emerge for this market.
