The market resolves based on which team scores more runs in the first inning of the specified professional baseball game. If Baltimore scores more runs than the A's in the first inning, the 'Baltimore wins 1st inning' market resolves to Yes. Conversely, if the A's score more runs than Baltimore in the first inning, the 'A's wins 1st inning' market resolves to Yes. If both teams score the same number of runs, or if neither team scores any runs, the 'Tie 1st inning' market resolves to Yes. All markets share a common secondary rule: only runs scored during the first inning count, and if the game is called before the first inning is completed, all markets resolve to a Fair Price. The outcome is strictly determined by first-inning performance, with no consideration given to later innings or the overall game result.
