Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to trader sentiment and available information. While sportsbooks may set lines based on broader analytics, prediction markets reflect the crowd-sourced view of participants on Polymarket. This can create pricing gaps, especially when insider news or shifting public opinion influences bettors more than standard sportsbook models.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders manually place bets that directly set the market price through supply and demand dynamics.
