Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. The price of each share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly, providing a real-time assessment of the event’s likelihood. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe an outcome is likely, they will buy shares, driving up the price and increasing its implied probability. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price.
This market resolves around Sep 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Aveley FC vs. Brentwood Town FC match—the exact score—will determine the winning outcome in this market. Resolution will occur after the match has concluded and the official score has been published by a recognized sports authority. Traders who held shares in the correct exact score will be paid out according to the market’s payout structure at the time of resolution.
