This market will resolve to "Clube Náutico Capibaribe" if Clube Náutico Capibaribe score more goals than Avaí FC in the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Draw". Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets like this one are driven by trader consensus and real-money risk. Prediction markets tend to aggregate dispersed information efficiently, sometimes pricing outcomes differently than traditional oddsmakers. Comparing this market's implied probabilities to major sportsbook lines can reveal where the two venues disagree, potentially signaling value or market inefficiency worth investigating before the match begins.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker (AMM) system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more capital flowing into a particular outcome, the higher its price rises, and vice versa. Each outcome's price directly reflects its implied probability—a price of 0.75, for example, means the market assigns a 75% chance to that result. Slippage and liquidity depth determine how much the price moves with each trade, so larger orders may face wider spreads than smaller ones on this market.
This market resolves around Jul 12, 2026, once the second half of the Avaí versus Náutico match concludes and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome will reflect the final score during the second half only—whether Avaí wins, Náutico wins, or the teams draw. Resolution depends on official match records and widely reported sports data, ensuring accuracy and fairness for all traders. Positions will settle automatically once the event is confirmed and the market is officially closed.
Team news—injuries, suspensions, or lineup changes—can shift trader expectations significantly before kickoff. Recent form, head-to-head history, and weather conditions at the venue may also influence how traders price the second half outcome. Early first-half momentum is a powerful signal; if one team dominates the opening 45 minutes, the market will likely reprice the second half odds to reflect improved or diminished chances. Live betting flow during the match itself will drive continuous price adjustments as new information emerges, making this market dynamic right up until resolution.
