PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Polymarket limits resolution scope to 90 minutes plus stoppage time, explicitly excluding extra time. Kalshi includes the entire game including extra time periods. This creates two different resolution windows for the same match.Hero tip: If you hold positions on both platforms, be aware that a 0-0 result at 90 minutes followed by a goal in extra time will resolve as 'Neither' on Polymarket but as a first-goal outcome on Kalshi. Consider hedging or clarifying your match outcome expectations before the match begins.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: Scope limited to 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only. Extra time and penalty shootouts explicitly excluded from resolution. Key Quote: 'This market refers only to the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded.'
  • Kalshi: Scope includes entire game: regulation, stoppage time, and any extra time periods. Penalty shootouts implicitly excluded (no goal scored in shootout). Key Quote: 'If Austria records the first goal during the entire game (regulation, stoppage and any extra time periods)...'
