The event determines whether Austin FC, San Diego FC, or neither team scores the first goal in the entirety of the match scheduled for September 26, 2026, including regulation time, stoppage time, and any extra time periods. If Austin FC scores the first goal, that specific market resolves to Yes. If San Diego FC scores the first goal, its corresponding market resolves to Yes. Should no goals be scored by either team throughout the entire match, the 'No Goal' market resolves to Yes. In the special case of an own goal, resolution follows the team to which the goal is officially awarded. This structure ensures that only one of the three possible outcomes will be validated based on the chronological occurrence of the first goal or the absence thereof.
