Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect the aggregated beliefs of informed traders rather than set benchmarks. In this market, the probability implied by trader activity may diverge from sportsbook odds due to access to different information or betting dynamics. Traders on Polymarket may price in nuances or early signals that sportsbooks have not yet adjusted for, potentially creating opportunities for arbitrage or insight into crowd-sourced forecasts.
