Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect real-time consensus from traders betting their own capital, whereas traditional sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in margin. For exact-score markets like this one, prediction markets often price niche outcomes more granularly because traders can express precise views without sportsbook constraints. Comparing Polymarket odds to major sportsbooks reveals whether the crowd believes an exact scoreline is over- or undervalued. Sportsbooks typically offer fewer exact-score options, making prediction markets a richer venue for this type of wager.
