These markets track specific combinations of outcomes for both the first half and the full game in an upcoming professional football match. Each market requires a particular team to win or tie during the first half and then a specified team to win the entire game. The outcomes hinge on precise alignment between early-game and final results.
All markets resolve based on the combined results of the first half and the full game (including overtime) of the Atlanta vs Pittsburgh Pro Football game scheduled for September 13, 2026. A market resolves to Yes only if both the specified first-half result (win for either team or tie) and the specified full-game winner match the actual outcomes. If either the first-half or full-game result does not align with the market's conditions, it resolves to No. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final official result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, the markets will resolve to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the governing league, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which are initially set by analysts. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like public betting percentages and perceived biases, while this market aggregates the diverse perspectives of individual traders. It’s common to see initial discrepancies, but as the event approaches, the odds on Kalshi tend to converge with those offered by sportsbooks, assuming both are efficiently priced. However, prediction markets can sometimes offer more nuanced probabilities for various outcomes.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes of the Atlanta vs Pittsburgh game. The price of each contract reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders set the odds by placing bids and asks, and the market price adjusts dynamically based on supply and demand. Higher volume generally indicates greater confidence in the current price, while significant price swings suggest new information or changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Sep 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final result of the Atlanta vs Pittsburgh game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official game results, including both the first-half and full-time results as defined by the governing sports league. Traders holding contracts corresponding to the correct outcome will receive a payout, while those holding contracts on incorrect outcomes will forfeit their investment. The exact timing of the resolution may depend on the official release of the game results.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before Sep 13, 2026. Key player injuries or suspensions for either the Atlanta or Pittsburgh teams would likely cause significant movement. Unexpected news regarding team strategies, coaching changes, or even weather conditions could also impact trader sentiment. Major shifts in public opinion, as reflected in polls or expert analyses, could also contribute to price fluctuations. Any significant development related to the teams or the game itself has the potential to move this market.
