It provides a snapshot of offensive performance during a critical moment, highlighting the competitive balance between the two teams in that particular inning.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on the number of runs scored by each team specifically during the 4th inning of the Atlanta vs Milwaukee professional baseball game scheduled for August 22, 2026. If Atlanta scores more runs than Milwaukee in that inning, the 'Atlanta wins 4th inning' market resolves to Yes. Conversely, if Milwaukee scores more runs than Atlanta, the 'Milwaukee wins 4th inning' market resolves to Yes. Should neither team score more runs than the other—meaning the inning ends in a tie—the 'Tie 4th inning' market resolves to Yes. Importantly, only runs scored during the 4th inning itself are considered for resolution. If the game is called or delayed before the completion of the 4th inning, all markets will resolve at a Fair Price. The outcome is strictly tied to offensive output in that single inning, with no consideration given to the overall game result or other innings.
