The market evaluates the total number of touchdowns scored by both teams combined in the September 24, 2026 game. Outcomes depend on whether the combined total reaches 3 or more, 4 or more, 5 or more, 6 or more, 7 or more, or 8 or more touchdowns.
This market resolves based on the combined total touchdowns scored by Atlanta and Green Bay during their game on September 24, 2026, including any touchdowns scored in overtime. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the market remains open and resolves based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, the market resolves to a fair price. Touchdowns counted include those in overtime. Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely express their beliefs about the likelihood of various outcomes. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may emerge, where traders can profit by simultaneously buying and selling contracts on Kalshi and at a sportsbook. However, it’s important to remember that sportsbooks and prediction markets each have their own unique strengths and weaknesses in forecasting event results.
This market resolves around Sep 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the total number of touchdowns scored in the Atlanta versus Green Bay game is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score, as officially recorded by the NFL, will determine the winning contract. The resolution process relies on publicly available data to ensure an objective and transparent outcome. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result to understand the market's settlement.
Several factors could influence the price of contracts in this market. News regarding key player injuries to quarterbacks, running backs, or wide receivers on either team would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they suggest adverse conditions for passing or running, could also impact expectations. Late-breaking reports about team strategies or coaching decisions might also shift the market. Finally, any significant public sentiment shifts, perhaps driven by expert analysis, could also move this market before Sep 25, 2026.
