This set of markets evaluates whether both Atlanta and Green Bay will score a specific minimum number of points in their football game scheduled for September 24, 2026. Each market corresponds to a different threshold of points that both teams must reach for the outcome to be considered successful. The resolution depends on the official game result, including any points scored in overtime, with provisions for fair pricing if the game is significantly delayed.
The markets resolve based on whether both Atlanta and Green Bay score at least a specified number of points in their Pro Football game originally scheduled for September 24, 2026. Each market corresponds to a different point threshold (14, 21, 28, or 35 points). Points scored in overtime count toward the total. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original scheduled time, the market remains open and resolves based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, the market resolves to a fair price. Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the 'wisdom of the crowd,' potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. It's common to see prediction markets incorporate information that sportsbooks might miss, such as subtle changes in team morale or unreported injuries. However, sportsbook odds are easily accessible and provide a readily available comparison point for evaluating the potential value within this market.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book, where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the outcome. The price of a 'Yes' contract indicates the probability of both teams scoring, while the price of a 'No' contract reflects the probability of at least one team being held scoreless. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective expectation. Traders are incentivized to provide accurate predictions, as profitable trades are rewarded, and inaccurate ones result in losses. This dynamic pricing mechanism aims to converge towards a fair assessment of the event's likelihood.
This market resolves around Sep 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official scoring records of the Atlanta versus Green Bay game. Specifically, the market will determine if both teams each score at least one point during the game. The official game results, as reported by a trusted sports data source, will serve as the basis for determining whether the 'Yes' or 'No' outcome is triggered. The final result will be publicly available on Kalshi following the game's completion.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding key player injuries on either the Atlanta or Green Bay teams would likely cause price movement. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if severe weather is anticipated, could also impact expectations about scoring. Unexpected coaching decisions or strategic shifts announced before the game could also shift trader sentiment. Finally, any late-breaking news regarding team morale or internal conflicts could influence the market, as traders react to perceived changes in the likelihood of a high-scoring game.
